Glenys Archer, Executive Vice President, Sales

A visionary with a clear, incisive style and an easy sense of humor, Glenys has 15 years of publishing experience. She has successfully navigated sales and marketing in newspapers, consumer and trade publications and digital media.

From 1998 to 2000, she directed national sales for Primedia Intertec’s custom publication division. In this capacity, she developed a new revenue stream for custom publishing client Humana, the nation's fifth-largest HMO. Using her creativity and relish for challenge, she charted new territory by securing ad dollars frequently found outside of ad budgets from advertisers such as Johnson & Johnson, Schering-Plough, McNeill Consumer Products, Ortho, Mead Johnson and other healthcare companies. With the newfound income, Humana was able to launch a second customer publication serving its commercial membership.

Before this, Glenys was employed by Los Angeles-based publisher Miramar Communications, developing the company's most successful sales territory ever with Homecare, a healthcare trade publication.

Glenys’ skills were initially developed and fine-tuned at newspapers and lifestyle magazines within the healthcare, food and beverage, financial and travel industries. Glenys lives by a “customer-comes-first” dictum, and clients consider her a value-added business partner.
