Nora is an award-winning communication designer and co-founder of the
European design consultancy Grøtting Design. She has led large-scale
design projects for clients such as Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn.
She has degrees in both design (BFA in Communication Design) and
business (MBA), a rare combination that allows her to integrate
business strategy into every stage of the design process.
Nora brings
an international esthetic to her work, honed while leading design
projects in Italy, Germany and Switzerland for major European
companies, including several luxury brands. As Design Director in the
Los Angeles office, and Associate Creative Director in the San
Francisco office of divine (formerly marchFIRST), Nora
led the design strategy and implementation of large-scale projects for
clients including Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Mazda, Hard Rock
Online and Jenny Craig. In addition, she was a key team member on
projects for NBC, Warner Bros. and the Guggenheim Museums.
While at Arabad Design in Lausanne, Switzerland, Nora
created promotional materials and print ads for Baume & Mercier and
Phillip Morris. She also developed print campaigns for clients in the
cosmetics and fashion industries while at Bates International
Advertising Agency in Milan, Italy. Her other clients include Canadian
Club, Honda, BHF-Bank, Motion Artists Agency in Hollywood, ProHealth
Network and advena hotels of Berlin.
